Yesterday, was a good day

Monday was a good day. It is not often you can say that. My husband took the little one to the doctor and she got her pins and her cast removed. She has to be careful for the next couple of months, but we are cast free! She wanted to keep the cast and the pins - and they let us bring them home.

A big thank you to anyone who made a purchase from my fundraisers! Thank you so much. I made a donation to two of my teammates page with the money ($200 total between several fundraisers) and will get it corporate matched.  This week marks 9 weeks to go until the big day. Here is what the schedule looks like.

I was going to stop fundraising, but I can't....not until the day of the event.  I am looking for people who are wiling to sponsor me for the remaining weeks of training. The below chart shows how many weeks I have left and the total number of miles assigned each week. All you have to do is pick a week and donate a quarter per mile, fifty cents per mile or maybe even a dollar per mile, its up to you. Just tell me which one you pick and I will make you my title sponsor for the week. With that you will get a little bonus item from me in the mail (sparkly headband, Starbucks gift card  or random item).  To keep me honest, if I don't hit my total number of miles each week, I will donate $1 for every mile missed that I have a sponsor for. Donations can be made on my 3-Day fundraising page - HERE.

How did Monday treat you? Are you surprised when a normal bad day turns into a good day?

  1. well today just started off icky....I mean with my run...My mind and body felt ready but the first 2 miles (with hills) just sucked...legs felt very heavy!! (My mind went down the tubes immediately) but I kept going and the next 2 miles were MUCH better...thank goodness...I guess I just needed more time to get in the groove today...

So its all good...time to shower and then run some errands. ;-)

funny about the pins...:) When my mom had the pins and screws taken out of her foot, they sanitized them and she had them made into earrings! I am NOT joking :) it's too funny!

    Happy Trails :)
