3. I used to eat eggs everyday for breakfast. I have now moved on to oatmeal. Anyone have any good recipes for baked oatmeal it sounds so good, but I am hate taking a risk on food. Share a link if you have one.

ReplyDeleteI tend to eat oatmeal or peanut butter sandwiches. I would love a good baked oatmeal recipe too.
I make baked oatmeal all the time. It's what I eat before my morning workout. I don't have a link but here is my recipe:
ReplyDelete2 bananas, mashed
3 cups oats
1 cup milk
2 eggs
1 tbsp baking powder
1 tsp vanilla
3 tbsp chocolate chips (or whatever mix ins you'd like)
mix all ingredients and bake in a muffin tin (fill all the way to the top) at 375 degrees for 20-30 mins. Makes 12. Nutritional info: 1 muffin, 131 calories, 3.96g fat, 20.5g carbs, 4.77g protein.
Obviously, the nutrition info changes if you omit the choc. chips or change the mix ins.

ReplyDeleteI like simple buttered toast. Or sometimes I have a strawberry Slim Fast shake because it is yummy and keeps me full longer than toast.
