TripleT

1. Did you see the RunwithJess is starting a weight loss challenge.  This is one challenge I will be joining. I can use all of the extra support and accountability in the weight loss department.  Join in the fun - what do you have to lose? Head over to RunwithJess to sign up.

2. The weather for the Seattle RnR is looking like it is going to be a warm one. Or at least warm for us PNWers. Early predictions are saying 71 degrees. The only good thing is it is usually cooler in the morning in Seattle.  This might be the first half I run with no rain. Who am I kidding, I probably just jixed us all. I don't do well when it gets in the 70s, my hands tend to swell.

 3. On Saturday I had scheduled myself for 4mi easy walkingChaLean burn it off & recharge DVDs, but I am not sure how I am going to squeeze it all in. The our Shake Your Bootie Save A Boobie Zumba Fundraiser Event is taking place from 9-11AM on Saturday. Then in the afternoon my daughter has a pre-k graduation. Looks like Saturday as been turned into my 'rest' day. Might as well toss it out there if you are interested in donating to my fundraising efforts - donations can be made here.

What is the hottest tempature you have raced in?

  3. That Zumba event sounds fun:) Hottest race for me was probably low 70's in San Diego for the RNR Marathon. It was overcast which really saved the day. The race directors were warning us to take salt packets and drink lots of liquid because they thought it was going to be a scorcher. In Seattle, I don't thing they can predict the weather that far in advance. Selfishly I would love for it to be sunny, but for you guys, I will pray for 50's at least until the race is over:)

  5. I hadn't even looked at the weather for Seattle yet. 70 would be okay, but hopefully not much warmer than that! Yikes! My Vancouver-rain-runner body doesn't remember what to do with warm weather anymore...
