Two Things Tuesday

Yesterday, I got up and figured I would head to spin to and do a little shake out ride. My legs wore sore, but my back/hip area was super tight. Normally a nice ride will loosen everything up. After my  ride my legs felt better but my back was still extremely tight. I had the pleasure of working from home yesterday so I spent a lot for the day icing and heating my back. By mid-afternoon I decided it was time to hit the chiropractor for an adjustment.  I told him what was going on and that in 20 days I was planning on running another half, so I need to be back to running by Wednesday. He laughed but went a long with it. I made another appointment for Wednesday and I am sure I will see him a few more times in the next few weeks. The goal today is to Spin again to keep things moving and after I see the Chiropractor on Wednesday go for a short run.  I also plan to schedule a message before my next half in hopes to get everything feel good again.

April has ended and I reached my April fundraising goal. A big thanks to all who donated to my fundraising efforts in April. I have raised $1750 so far and only $550 more to go to reach my minimum goal. This morning I selected two winners by using random.org for $15 gift cards - the winners are Lori C. and Suzanne W.! Do you go to a Chiropractor? Do you get regular massages?


  1. Sorry your back is tight. My legs are still a bit tight and sore and my feet hurt. I did a spin workout today too to try and loosen up. I started getting a massage once a month a few months ago and I love it. I wish I had an appt. this week, but it's not until next Tuesday. Hope you feel better soon:)

  3. I go to the chiropractor the week of the half and the first day after that he is open and I'm back in town. He works wonders!! My back was super tight on Sunday after my half on Saturday but by Monday and my chiro appt. it was back to normal. Hope yours feels better soon!

  4. I'm thinking I need to go to a chiropractor as well...but I get sooo nervous! How do you find a good one?

    1. Ask your friends, word of mouth is best way to see who is the best! Good luck!
