The Eve of Christmas Eve

I was going to run yesterday, I wanted to run yesterday, but I didn't.  After waiting 3 weeks I figured what is one more day. Actually, I was working from home and was going to do a lunch time run on the treadmill. Within minutes of getting up to go change into my running gear the doorbell rang. My husband had scheduled a someone to come and do some repairs on our garage door. He was supposed to show anywhere from 11AM - 1PM, I got up to go run at 1:30PM, he was late and I had a quick and easy out since our treadmill is located in the garage.

Instead of waiting for the repair man to be finished I went and pampered myself with a mani/pedi. Yes, I just did this to weeks ago, no I don't usually do two in one month but I really needed it. The last training cycle really messed up my feet.  At the end of the day I didn't run, heck I didn't do a thing in that would be considered exercise......wait, I did walk around looking at Christmas lights for 40 minutes, ha, I did get something in.

Today is the Eve of Christmas Eve - where the masses are running around trying to get all of the last details done. I will be one of those today. I need to get 3 more gifts, 1 - I know what I need get, the other 2 I am still have no clue. This should be a fun day.

From my family to your family I hope you have a happy holiday season, whatever you celebrate!

  3. Merry Christmas. I agree, what's one more day?
I got a pedi last week and didn't realize how much I needed it until she brought out the special scrub brush. Running is rough on feet!
