Workout done

Keeping it short as I don't have much to say today.  Last night I completed my 4 miles on the treadmill with no pain in my hip. I decided to follow a 5/1 running/walking plan to make sure that my hip was getting plenty of rest. This morning I woke up and my hip was a little stiff, but I was able to stretch it out pretty well before heading to Spin. I noticed during Spin that my ankle was hurting....again! A total downer, but that just means I will keep my compression brace on all day in hopes the pain goes away. Thankfully the pain is only when I touch or stretch my ankle and not when I walk.

Day two of being thankful and this morning I was so incredible thankful that when I got home from Spin class my husband was already up and showered and starting to get our daughter up for the day. It is so helpful and makes my morning less stressful with the extra little help from him. I was able to shower and eat breakfast before I left for work because of it.

  4. I love your day 2 thankfulness - it's a nice way to start a Wednesday for sure.

    Boo for pain - I hope your hip continues to improve and that your ankle pain was just a freak phantom "just to worry you" pain and not a re-run!

  7. Good to hear your hip is improving. But a bummer about the ankle.

    Great to hear you are eating low carb at the moment too. I'm very happy with this way of eating.
