Eating for your Blood Type

I read an article the other day about eating for your blood type.  I found it very interesting and for me pretty right on.  I am blood type O- for me it says:
Type O-People with type O blood fare best on intense physical exercise and animal proteins and less well on dairy products and grains, says Dr. D'Adamo. The leading reason for weight gain among Type O's is the gluten found in wheat products and, to a lesser extent, lentils, corn, kidney beans, and cabbage, Dr. D'Adamo explains. Ideal exercises for Type O's include aerobics, martial arts, contact sports, and running.
I love that it says Contact Sports! I love kickboxing! I need to get back somehow.  One of my biggest issues with going low carbs is not eating bread with eggs, I love a piece of toast with my eggs.  This weekend I made my eggs in a boat, but instead of using bread I used Red Peppers. My husband said my culinary skills and creative had improved, so I fessed up that I actually saw it on Pinterst.

Before and after the egg flip. I am not that good at flipping eggs! They still tasted great even if they looked like bad. Next time I think I will leave the red pepper rings on to cook a little more before adding the eggs!

What does your blood type say about you? If you eat in the way they suggest for you do you see an improvement?

  1. I'm a type O too and it fits. Those eggs look delish!

  2. we have been eating a lot of eggs over easy lately. mine always look horrible after i flip them!

  3. Can you believe I'm not sure of my blood type? I'll have to check, I can't remember it now! I love the red pepper rings on your eggs, it looks great!
