Monday, Monday

I can't be the only one in the world who wishes running skirts and bike skirts had a draw string. I have to have workout clothing with draw strings to get them to just fit right.  This morning it took me half the class to get the skirt situated just right so it wouldn't give me a plumbers crack when I was riding. Once I had the golden placement figured out the rest of the class was great.  Here is a photo of me in the skirt this morning, it is about 5AM and I have been up for maybe 10 minutes.

The plan for this week. Its official I am 5 weeks out to my next half. That means peeps we are 5 weeks until Thanksgiving. Bring on the turkey! I am never asked to bring anything to Thanksgiving, I wonder if it is because my in laws realize that I am a terrible cook. :) Either way last night I tried Brussel Sprouts for the first time in - well I think ever. I might have had them as a kid, but I really don't remember.  I was surprised that I actually thought they were not bad. I think that if they had been cooked with bacon they would have been perfect. As you know everything is better with bacon. The point of this is maybe this year I will bring them as a dish. I wonder if anyone else actually likes them, I guess I have 5 weeks to find out.  Now for the plan:
Monday - Spin Done
Tuesday - Easy run 3 miles @13:57
Wednesday - Spin
Thursday  - Tempo Run 6 miles w/4 @ 12:26
Friday - 2 miles @ 13:57 (I may take this as a rest day)
Saturday - Spin
Sunday - 11 miles @ 13:57

Cutting back on sugar this past week has been tough. But for the first time in forever this morning the scale was down! It is never down come Monday morning so I think I am doing something right. I don't want to share to much on what I am doing right now. Whenever I write to much about my weight loss, I seem to jinx myself. So for now the changes I am making are working.

    I remember having to "situate" my running skirt too. You get used to it and it's so worth it.

  4. I have a couple pairs of compression pants that I'm seriously considering cutting a slit in and running a ribbon or something through the waistband. I just can't find to seem pants or shorts that don't roll down. :-/
