Ever look at your week and think - how am I going to make this work. This week is one of those weeks, I just keep reminding myself that running and weight loss are a priority and I need to find the time or make the time even in my busy schedule. On the plus side I feel so much better today - my summer cold is gone! Woot! I think the extra rest really helped it not last long and linger.

The plan for this week:
Mon - 2 miles, abs and some arm work
Tue - Easy run 5Mi @14:20
Wed - Spin Class
Thur  - Speedwork 4Mi, Inc Warm, 2x1600 in 12:00 w/800 jogs, cool
Fri - Spin Class
Sat - Rest
Sun -Long Run 6 Mi @14:20

Whats on your agenda for the week?


  1. Glad you are feeling better! I'm on a cut-back week, so not much going on as far as my workouts - which only consist of running. I need to work in more cross-training like you do.

  2. It seems like for me, the busier my life is, the easier it is for me to fit in my workouts. Because then they are just such a priority. Good luck this week getting it done! I know you will do great! :)

  3. Good luck with your week! I plan to get some running in everyday this week, even if it is a mile or two to start getting myself back on track!

  4. I look at my training schedule almost every week and wonder "how am I going to get all that in?" This week calls for a 3, 4, 5, and 13 miler - see, I'm slow so that is probably going to be a total of 7 hours of running excluding changing, driving to the trail head, stretching, and cooling down - boo! That's a LOT of time. It is a priority and I, like you, have to remind myself of that daily (sometimes hourly especially when all I want to do is go home and sleep!). Good luck getting it done this week. I know you can do it! So glad you're feeling better!
