Back to reality

My husband and I joke you know you are off vacation when you have to put real shoes on. You know, you can't wear flip flops to work. 

The plan this week besides doing a mound of laundry and I thought I packed light is to get the following workouts in:

Tuesday - Easy Run - 2 Mi @ 14:17
Wednesday - Spin Class
Thursday - Tempo run 4 Mi w/ 2 @ 12:32
Friday - Easy Run - 2 Mi @ 14:17
Saturday - Spin Class
Sunday - Long Run 8 Mi (eeek! longest run in a while)

I know that is 6 days in a row so if I need a rest day I will skip the Spin Class on Saturday. The month is almost over! Crazy! I need to look at September and set some goals.  Right now I am 13 weeks out from my next half, I also want to work in kickboxing once a week. Maybe I should do that Saturday instead of Spin.....hmmmm wait I just said that might be a rest day. My training plan, just bumped me up to 4 runs a week until the half, so I guess something has to give right. I really enjoyed the kickboxing class, but my Living Social coupon in over and the Spin class is free with my gym membership. For now I will just play it by ear and see what happens.

  1. i wear flip flops to work with dress clothes. my husband says i shouldn't but until someone at work says not to, i'm going for it! :)

  2. @ Crystal...I used to wear them all the time, but the team I am on is a little more business dress...at least I can still wear jeans. :)

  3. You are just so awesome. I LOVE your passion for fitness and your drive to focus on other activities like kick boxing and spinning - you're amazing!!!! Keep up the good work. My Sept goal is to do speed work at least once a week in prep for my Sept half where I feel like 7 months of training are riding on one stupid time goal . . to get a sub 3. Good luck and keep up the good work!
