To much to read

I love reading, love it but if I have to much in my queue ready to read I start to get a little stressed out.  Sounds strange I know, but I only like to have 1-2 books on ready to read at one time.

Right now I am reading:
I Love Everybody (and Other Atrocious Lies): True Tales of a Loudmouth Girl
August Issue of Runner's World and Shape

Loaded on my Nook or sitting on my night stand:
A Fierce Radiance
The 17 Day Diet
Quantum Wellness Cleanse
One other book that I can't remember the title of right now

I wish I could read while I workout. I see the other people do it on the treadmill or elliptical, but when ever I try I just end up reading the same line 5x or get motion sickness.

Can you read while working out? Any good books in your reading queue? Any must read books fitness related or not?

  1. Years ago my mom would order the large print Readers Digest and read on the treadmill.

    I cannot read.. I go cross eyed. I have bought books on CD and listened to them. Might try that.

  2. I never read during a cardio session. In my gym nobody really does. I tried reading a magazine once on the stationary bike but it wasn't a success.

    I love to read too but no more than 1 book at a time. I have taken subscriptions on Shape Magazine and Fitness Magazine as such magazines aren't sold here in Holland and I love both. I also have a subscription on Runner's World, the Dutch and US version but I prefer the US version.
