Case of the Monday's

This is me today! I feel like I could sleep another 10 hours. Yesterday we had a beautiful sunny day and today we woke up to gray and cloudy. The weather has such an impact on how I feel when I wake up. 

The plan for this week and the goal for this week is to control the sugar intake still as well as load up on water. We are heading to warmer weather for the 4th of July weekend and I want to make sure that I am completely hydrated to avoid the hot weather bloat.

As for the fitness goal I am going to keep it short and simple:

Monday  - 45 minutes cardio (whatever machine calls my name at the gym, I heave been wanting to try the Arc trainer so maybe that), abs, and final count on push up challenge
Tuesday - KenpoX
Wednesday - Yoga, 2-3 times up my hill
Thursday - 45 - 60 minutes cardio and abs
Friday - probably nothing unless I do it before work. After work we pack up and head out of town
Saturday - easy jog or walk for at least 30 minutes.

I plan to take my running stuff with me for our long weekend, but we will see how much I get in. I want to shoot for at least 30 minutes of some sort of workout. There is also a killer hill where we will be so maybe I will try to tackle that.

  2. The best way I have to conquer the Mondays is to make a plan for the week. Looks like you've already nailed that. =)

  3. I could hardly move away from my coffee this morning! But I managed to pull it together just in time to get the last bike at Spin class...

  4. Perfect post - it's a beautiful day here weatherwise today, but I still can't get motivated to run or do much - I'm sooo tired (personally, I think it's because I don't fall asleep until very late because the sun is still out so very late). Oh well, great post!
