Going for a bike ride

I went to the gym tonight with the goal to hop on a bike and ride while watching the Biggest Loser. Instead out of habit I jumped on the elliptical without even realizing it. About  30 minutes in I was like WTF, finished up the mile I was on for 3 miles and then went to the bike. My goal was to ride 5 miles, the next thing I knew I was at 7.25. Biking as a form of cross training is different for me - but I think it is something I am going to like. I hope to get into a spin class at least once a week, but that usually means getting up early on the weekends. I like my sleep so that will be a hard habit to get back into.

  1. That's awesome that you didn't even realize how far you were goin'! That kinda crap never happens with me... I need to let go!

  2. I don't get lost in my head on the machines at the gym, but I do when I'm running outside. I've been known to lose a couple of miles without being aware of anything but my own thoughts.
