4- that right

Tonight I wanted to get a quick workout in, and I thought heck lets try doing some intervals I have been reading about on the treadmill.

I started out by doing a warm up half mile and then rest the treadmill to see how long it would take me to run a 400M, with the treadmill set at 6MPH I completed it in 2:33, not bad. I walked 400M and repeated this 4 times. When I was done I decided to write the time down on my whiteboard in the garage, but started to get confused because I knew thought that .25 of a mile was 400M, but then I tried to make 600M  half a mile and well I knew that wasn't right. So I said screw it and just put .25 - 2:33 - at that point I realized if I couldn't figure out my distance I shouldn't be on the treadmill. :)   I finished off my workout with 50 jumping jacks, 50 knee ups, 50 chair squats and week #2 Day #1 of push ups. Today's push ups were tough - 14, 14, 10, 10 and 15.

  1. A mile = 1.6 km (as I mention both on my blog alle the time I became an expert on converting LOL )

    So: 1/2 mile = 800 m and 1/4 mile = 400 m
    You were right about your 1/4 mile time but the 600 m wasn't a half mile.
