1 - 2 - 3 - Go Team

My daughter loves to have us all put our hands in a pile and scream Go Team! She has not been part of a sports team so I am not sure where she picked it up but it is really cute.  Anyways that is how I feel today like I need to give myself a pep talk to keep moving in the right direction. Last week my BodyBug Band broke so I have a new one on order, but with out that little tracker I seem to slack! This week I am determined to get back on track with our without it.

Sunday  I went to the gym and did an elliptical workout, abs and did my Initial Test for the 100 push up challenge  I was able to do 20 "girly" push ups. I figure  I will start with assisted push ups, and then once I master it I can work on doing real push ups.  I am going to do the Push Up Challenge  M-W-F - if all goes to plan.

Week 1 Day 1
Set 1 -10
Set 2 - 12
Set 3 - 7
Set 4 -7
Set 5 - Max (at least 9)

This should be interesting, I will report back on my progress. :) I do plan to add other arm work in on days I go to the gym or feel like busting out a DVD, but for now this is a start.  The second goal for this week is to get back running and I hope to get in one run tonight.

Off  to search the Crackberry site to see if I can find a push up app for my phone or other fun apps. Do you have any workout Apps for your phone? If so what are your favorites?

  1. By Crackberry you mean you have a Blackberry?
You can download it from the app store

I downloaded this and it works perfect.

  2. LOL Fran - yes I mean Blackberry - thanks for the link off to check it out.

  3. Ok! I know you didn't invite me, but I am so up for this challenge, too! It will be fun to do it together (e.g. I don't do anything unless I have a friend motivating me, haha). I am off to read the site and do the initial test, too (I took a peek at the site, looks like something I can manage). My arms are, uh, big. And weak.

  4. Awesome Julie! I know you understand my arm need - losing weight is awesome but it sure deflats part of your body....and those areas need all the help we can give them.

  5. GET IT GIRL. i hate pushups. I HATE THEM!

  6. Push ups are boring but they are also a great work out for your core along with the upper body. Most women who can do girly push up can't even do a full "regular" push up. So even if can only do one or two reg push ups stick with the regular push ups. I promise you will see RESULTS. You just have to stick with the program.

  7. I have the tracks to miles app for my droid. It hooks you up with dailymile. I would love to hear about other exercise tracking sites & apps if you know of more. :)
