Weekend Update

Saturday was a day of rest and I took that day.

Sunday today the plan was I would head to they gym at 10AM and then Sean would bring Evie down at 11:30 and I would take her swimming while Sean ran his mileage for today. The plan worked out perfect, except I am exhausted now. My overall run was okay, I did do a little bit of walking, trying to keep my pace the entire run was difficult, but the walk breaks helped.

  1. Well done on the run. When a run is difficult I also add walking breaks (did it last Saturday). Nothing wrong with that. Before I started my current training plan for my half I did all my long runs with a walk-run ratio but now I just stop after 30 minutes, drink or eat something, and run again, no walking breaks. For me that works better this way.
