oh Wednesday

I think I need to stop watching Biggest Loser live and start getting in bed on Tuesday night before 10PM. I have noticed that past few weeks that I stayed up to watch the end of Biggest Loser once I got to bed I am not tired. This causes me to get terrible sleep, and miss my planned Wednesday morning Yoga session. Then my day just feels off. 

Today I got my 4 mile planned run in on the treadmill in 56 minutes. I did a walk/run combo as I kept getting a cramp in my upper left thigh. I need to stretch better before my run next time.  I was going to make up my missed Yoga session tonight, but I checked my bodybugg and I have already met my burned calories for the day met, so I am going to skip it.

Instead I can't wait to dig into the book I picked up from the library - Run Like a Mother. I have read great reviews on it and as a mother I struggle with spending time with my beautiful daughter and wonderful husband or carving out time for myself.  I received a Nook for Christmas and was sad when my library did not carry this book in the digital format, I quickly feel in love with reading in the digital format. Since the library didn't carry a digital copy I got on the list for the paperback. Having to wait for a book is always a good sign that it is a good read.


  1. I have a hard time with live TV, too. I have to TiVo. Especially shoes that run late like BL.

  2. I'm not a mother but as you've read on my last post I do struggle with getting everything in.

    And I think you are right to relook at your schedule. Focus on your half marathon training and after that take a new look on your schedule.

    Your cramp might also been cause by the treadmill. I find I have more cramps and/or tired legs when I run on the treadmill. When I run outside I have less problems.
