Hello Friday!

Its one of those days where you wake up and just feel good. Even though I wasn't in bed until shortly after 11PM, when the alarm went off at 4:30AM I was able to crawl out of bed shortly before 5 to workout. On the schedule today was P90X Core Synergistics - this is one of my favorite workouts. I find it challenging enough to keep me interested for the full hour. There are some moves that are just a little crazy and because of my hardwood floors I have to skip. One of those is the Dreya Roll - well the video I found has the girl doing it on wood floors, but I find it painful. I also dream of the day that I am fit enough to do the plank run to chataranga run, for now I just do the plank run. I just don't have the upper arm strength to get down into the chataranga pose.

After my workout I made a protein shake using So Delicious Vanilla Coconut Milk and Jillian Michael's Chocolate Protein Powder and all I can say is yummy. I think is this is my new favorite quick protein drink. This is my first week trying Coconut milk, but I think I am in love. It is tasty on cereal and made the protein drink super creamy.

My plan for this evening is to get a light 30 minute run in on the treadmill and then relax. This morning was my weekly weigh in day, well my offical day I have to say I am a little obsessed with the scale and typical step on it more then one time in a day. Unless I hide it....then I may go a whole day with out using it before I bring it back out. This morning I am happy to say that I am down 2.8lbs, which is good becuase I was up last week. So I lost the gain from last week plus a little more. I am focused and ready to see that scale move down and eventually have me enter ONEderland. My goal for next week is 2lbs, which is tough but if I stay on track I know I can do it.
